HiIn 1956 my parents had two daughters. They loved them a lot, but it was time for a boy, so on July 29, 1956 at 3:33 am I was born. My mother named me after her favorite uncle, who was a professional poker player, a professional pool player, a trapeze catcher and a juggler, but more he loved her enough to come home after a night at the poker player or long day on the trapeze and answer her call for help, to protect her from the vicious snake on the wall in the cellar. He would snatch the monster off the wall and wrestle it into submission as she squealed with delight. He would finally subdue the snake returning the piece of garden hose back to its place on the wall.
