Clifford J. “Bud” Yoder, 93, died on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion, Indiana.
He was born on February 27, 1925 in Geneva, Indiana to Clifford and Gladys (Jack) Yoder. Clifford served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and married Colleen Cochran on March 12, 1950, in Van Buren, Indiana. Together they would raise their four children in Eaton, Indiana and celebrate 68 years of marriage.
Clifford worked for Brodricks Forge for 35 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Amvets Post #23. In his free time, he enjoyed working part-time on some local farms as well as the Eaton Elevator.
Clifford loved to hunt and fish. He and his family would spend weekends on Bear Lake and after retiring, Clifford and Colleen traveled in their camper.
He is survived by his children: Michael Yoder (Jean), of Marion, Clifford “Butch” Yoder II (Denise), of Muncie, Barbara Reed (Doug), of Greenfield and Christine Schnaitter, of Anderson, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Colleen, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Yoder and James Yoder.
