Clifford Gene Dennis, 82, of Moberly, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his home. He was born September 21, 1934 in Moberly to Clifford and Norma (Sumpter) Dennis.
Prior to retirement Gene was the Terminal Manager for Mid America Pipeline in Cairo, MO. He married Bertha Ann Hammons on July 24, 1954 in Moberly and she preceded him in death August 27, 2011. Also preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include his two sons, Stan and wife Jean of Moberly and Rodney and wife Lynette of Scottsdale, AZ, five grandchildren, Josh Dennis and Misty of Jefferson City, MO, Brett and Hollie Dennis of Madison, Trevor Dennis and Samantha of Moberly, Braydon Dennis of Scottsdale, AZ and Kailee Dennis of Austin, TX, Three great-grandchildren, Eli, Michael and Connor Dennis, two sisters-in-law, Lavetta Schrader of Moberly, Barb Burnett and husband Gerald of St. Louis, MO, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including a dear friend Wally Rasmussen of Moberly.
