Clifford Eric Jeter’s (Cliff, Gypsy, & Coach) life began on April 29th, 1951, in Monongahela, PA. He was born second of six children to the late Aubrey and Charlene Jeter. He departed this life on Friday, February 16th, 2023, after a long illness.

Cliff was a graduate of Monongahela High School in 1969. Following high school, he enlisted into the US Navy where he served as a Seabee. Once he left the Navy, he became a trucker, driving for various companies. He spent the last 17 years driving for Rockville Fuel & Feed Company until he retired.

Cliff accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church of Finleyville, PA. It wasn’t until his later years that he developed a close relationship with God where he totally leaned and depended on his Savior. Many days he found comfort in listening to the song ”Father Can You Hear Me,” from a Tyler Perry movie.

During his younger years, Cliff was rough and ready, thus he coined the phrase “Respect My Gangsta. ” Once he left the Navy, he travelled across the country earning the title Gypsy, never meeting a stranger. It wasn’t until he met his former wife Luwanda, that he settled in as a family man. Cliff had a great love for his Children and took great pride in each one of them. It was nothing for him to ring one of his children in the early morning hour as he drank a cup of Maxwell House coffee. He had a love for sports and stayed loyal to his hometown teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. Coaching youth football, basketball, and baseball became one of his favorite pastimes where he impacted the lives of many young men and women.

Memories of Cliff will be cherished by his children: Erica (Lenwood), Leah (Chad), Angel (Larry), Jonathan (Rocke/le), Jordan (Devin), Jasmine (Tyree), Shaun; His Grandchildren: Darius, Charleigh, Delana, Azaria, f’reona, Larryn, LaDar, LaRon, Destiny, Jabez, J’Shaun, Jamya, Egypt; His sisters, Debbi Ali, Theresa Hardy, Amy Turley, Debra Higgins, and Gail Jeter; His Aunt Grace (Andrew) White. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; his companion Darlene. His Brothers Roderick Sr. and Aubrey Jr. and Grandson Kaleb preceded him in death.
