Clifford C. Sparks Jr. (“Sparky”) died peacefully on October 1, 2010 at his home in Centennial CO surrounded by his family and Priest.
Clifford was born January 24, 1925 in San Diego, California, son of Clifford C. and Dora M. Sparks. Clifford married Louise Vukas on January 23, 1945 they shared 59 beautiful years of marriage together.
Clifford enlisted in the United States Army in 1943 and was commissioned seven years later.
Clifford is survived by his children Clifford C. Sparks III (Golden, CO), Donald E. (Jan) Sparks (St. George, UT), Anita L. (BJ) Sparks (Kansas City, MO), Mary J. (Brett) Shepherd (Lafayette, CO). He is survived by three brothers and a sister, Phil Sparks, Edith Chilton, George (Marjorie) Sparks, and Jim Sparks. He is survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Clifford is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Louise; and great-grandson Julian J. Sparks.
Clifford touched the lives of all who knew him – even those who only knew him for a short time or in passing.
