Clifford C. Gress, 65 of Peru, died at 5:00 am September 13,2014 in Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
Mr Gress was born in Peru on November 7,1948 to John and Bonnie(Kerlin)Gress. He married Janice Walter on July 27,1968. He graduated from LaSalle-Peru High School in 1966 and from Illinois Valley Community College in 1989 with a degree in Electronic Technology. He previously worked at LTV Steel in Hennepin until they closed. He most recently worked at U.S. Silica in Ottawa.
Mr Gress is survived by his wife Janice of Peru; one son, Mark(Jamie Storm)Gress of Peru and her son, Carlos Carcamo and his fiancee’ Hannah Stout; one daughter, Lisa(Kevin McConnell)Gress of Madison,Wisconsin; three brothers, Donald(Linda)Gress of Lebanon,MO, Rich(Karen)Gress of Dimmick Township and Jack Gress of Peru; one sister Kristine(Mike)Paul of Oglesby. He was preceded in death by his father John Gress, his mother Bonnie Liebhart and step-father Ray Liebhart.
