Clifford R. Banthin, age 91, of Redding, CT, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021 in his home. He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late John Frederick and Claire Reuther Banthin and he often told stories about exploring the outdoors in Beardsley Park when he was a boy.
Survivors include his wife Lynda (Taylor) Banthin, four children Jessica and her husband Alec Klatchko, Richard and his wife Anne Alward, David and his wife Christina Banthin and Christopher and his wife Ellen Banthin, his sister Mary Ann Wood and four grandchildren Emma, Henry, Emily and Noah, two great grandchildren Carter Rose and Pierson and several nieces and nephews. His brother, Jack Banthin, predeceased him. His marriage to Sarah Meeks ended in divorce.
