Clifford Eugene Ball, of Caldwell, went to be with his heavenly father on March 15, 2010.
Cliff was born on April 12, 1923 in Pea Ridge, Arkansas to William and Emma Ball. He met the love of his life, Lois Mae George, and after only four dates they were married on October 1, 1941 in Arkansas. The union was blessed with two daughters, Charlotte Lajean and Linda Mae. Cliff worked as a cotton-picker during his first years of marriage, before moving on to work for Mobile Oil for 15 years. He then became head custodian at Palos Verdes High School in California. In 1981, Cliff and Lois moved to Idaho to be near their family. Cliff retired from Vallivue School District in 1985.
Cliff is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lois; daughters, Charlotte (Jim) Renwick of Georgia and Linda (Charlie) Towe of Caldwell; granddaughters, Carrie (Dave), Raylena (Joe), Anita (Monty), Chrissy (Micah) Candy (Chad) and grandson, Steve (Susan). He also had 6 great-grandsons, 4 great-granddaughters, and his beloved dog, Tuffy.
The family wishes to thank the staff at West Valley Medical Center for treating Cliff and his family with such love and care during this time. Special thanks also goes to Sizzlers for making Cliff’s weekly trips there his favorite.
