Cliff Rosenbaum, 91, of Vanderpool, Texas, passed away at Cibolo Creek Health and Rehab Center on Monday, March 12, 2018.

Clifton William Rosenbaum was born on February 26, 1927, in Needville, Texas, to Robert and Laura (Leach) Rosenbaum. Cliff left high school to join the US Navy where he served his country in the Pacific Theatre on the USS Sevier during World War II. After the war, he attended Frigidaire school in Chicago and then he went to work for Herb’s Appliance. In February of 1952 Cliff met the love of his life, Dorothy Ivy, and they were married on September 11th of that year in Utopia, Texas. In 1957 he started his own business, R & D Appliance Service, where Cliff worked until he retired in 1993.

Cliff was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid sports fan and really enjoyed rooting for the Longhorns, Oilers and Astros. He was a lifelong member of the VFW. Above all else, Cliff enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones.

Cliff is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Dorothy Rosenbaum; his daughters, Donna Young and her husband, Phil, and Linda Stewart and her husband, Ron; his son, Cliff Rosenbaum, Jr. and his wife, Joy; his grandchildren, Jason Young and his wife, Eliza, Clayton Young, Jason Stewart, Rachel Phillips and her husband, Jonathan, Ashley Jones and her husband, Nick, and Garrett Rosenbaum; his great grandchildren, Mackella Phillips, Grayson Phillips, Ember Phillips, Emorie Jones, Lane Jones and Reese Jones; numerous nieces and nephews; and his sister-in-law, Verna Loue Rosenbaum.

Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Laura Rosenbaum; his brother, Robert Rosenbaum, Jr.; and his sister, Winona Band and her husband, Max.
