Cleve Shirden Harlow, 71 of Nampa; went to be with his Savior February 4th 2010, in a Boise facility after a brief battle with cancer.  Cleve was born June 22, 1938 to Harley and Lois Blood Harlow in Salmon ID.  The second of three children,  sisters Harlene and Sharon.  After his father died during WWII the children moved to Nebo, Illinois to be raised by their Grandparents; Plinnie and Leeta Harlow.

Cleve joined the army in 1955, went to Korea and was honorably discharged in 1957, after which he came back to Nebo where he met the love of his life Betty Davis and they married September 18, 1960 The following October their son, Cleve Evan was born and soon after they moved to Parma Idaho to be close to his Mother, Lois and Stepfather Carson Hurd while there, they had  Daughter, Christinia Renae and Son, Carson Edward.

In 1967 they moved to Notus, Idaho where Cleve worked as a farm hand for several farmers in the Notus area until 1983, when he went to work for the University of Idaho experiment station in Parma.  He was an  Ag tech, residing in the house  on the station’s property.   Cleve thoroughly enjoyed working there and taking care of the property until he retired in 2002.  After a short retirement, Cleve began working as security for EDS which later became Hewlett  Packard in Eagle, ID

Cleve loved fishing and camping, and traveling to see his family in Alaska, Oregon and Illinois.  He also worshiped at the Parma Revival center where he enjoyed singing and playing his guitar in the band.

 

Cleve is survived by his wife, Betty, his sisters Harlene Heildle of Crocker Mo, and Sharon  Houston of Ft Worth TX, Step brother Gary Hurd of Parma, ID. Sons Cleve (Deana) of Nampa, Carson (Shannon) of Eagle River, AK, daughter Christinia (Robert) Esquivel of LaGrande, OR, 12 grandchildren  and 10 great-grandchildren.  He was well loved and will be missed by many.
