Cletus E. Kreisher, 85, of Williamsport died Friday, January 25, 2019 at his home. Surviving is his loving wife of 63 years, Edith C. (Kurtz) Kreisher.

Born January 29, 1933, in Turbotville, he was a son of the late Lewis and Mildred (Hoffman) Kreisher.

Cletus proudly served in the United States Air Force. After returning home he continued his education at WACC and graduated with a degree in computer programming. He worked at Williamsport National Bank as a computer programmer for over 20 years until his retirement.

He was a member of the VFW Post #7863 and assisted with the Explorer Post at St. Matthews Lutheran Church where he was a member. Cletus enjoyed fishing, taking photos, and was an avid hunter who could be found in the woods during any season. He and his family could often be found camping, especially at the Sportsman where they camped for 50 years. He loved cheering his grandchildren on in their activities and continued to teach them new things about technology.  

Surviving in addition to his wife are his two daughters Karen J. Heffner (Jack) of Williamsport and Sandra M. Kreisher of South Williamsport; five grandchildren, Erika Lepley, Brad Heffner, Tyler Hinston, Trenton Hinston, and Taylor Hinston; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Trenton, his brothers Sedley Kreisher of Williamsport and Durrell “Otto” Kreisher (Tina) of Arlington, VA, and his beloved dog, Peanut.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Renee L. Kreisher, a great-granddaughter Ellianna and a brother Dalbys Kreisher.
