Cleofas R. Underwood, age 68, went home to be with Our Lord peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. She was born February 14, 1952 in Harlingen, TX, daughter to Jose Reyna and Manuela Garza. She was very involved with the deaf community in the South Texas Region, serving in various capacities from San Antonio to the Rio Grande. She also enjoyed arts and crafts.
Cleofas is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jose Reyna II and Enrique Reyna.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her devoted husband of 45 years, Roy Lee Underwood, son, Christopher Underwood (Jamie) and daughter, Laura Elizondo(Reynaldo), Eight Grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan, Miranda, Dallis and Adie Underwood. Ryan, Matthew and Trey Elizondo, two brothers, Jesse and Ramiro Reyna, two sisters, Anita Leal and Lupe Reyna. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
