Cleo Smith McIntyre, a daughter of the late Silas Smith and Minnie Jane Coleman Smith, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016, while residing at Eden Springs Nursing Home in Crawfordville. She was a devout Christian, enjoyed reading, and had retired as a telephone operator. She is survived by her six children, Sandra Akins, Betty Blackman, Earline McIntyre, Ron McIntyre, Robert McIntyre, and Raymond McIntyre. Also surviving her are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Paul Smith and Silas Smith, Jr. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Frank Earl McIntyre; and siblings, J.G. Smith, and Betty Kelly.
