Martha Cleo Ridenhour Efird, 89, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Atrium Health Stanly Hospital in Albemarle.
Cleo was born September 24, 1933 in North Carolina to the late John Henry Ridenhour and the late Eller Frances Ridenhour.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Jzener Efird; brothers, Arthur, Clarence, Joe, and Archie Ridenhour; sister, Berniece Winecoff; and grandson, Adam Efird.
Cleo was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church of Mount Pleasant for all of her life.
Survivors include daughter, Sheila Kendrick; sons, Jeffrey and Kelvin (Marlene) Efird; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jewell Little and Carolyn Whitley.
