Cleo Lamar Foster
Cleo Lamar Foster, of Greensboro, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his residence with his loved ones by his side. He was 78. Born in Louisville, MS on March 18, 1940, he was the son of the late Theo Upton Foster and Bessie Swindle Foster. He grew up and attended school in Mississippi. He married Shelby Jean White on May 24, 1958. In 1983 he moved to Greensboro. Cleo worked for NIBCO for twenty-four years as a trouble shooter of machines and retired eleven years ago in 2007. He enjoyed fishing, singing, and telling stories, but most of all he enjoyed being Paw Paw to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a member of True Gospel Lighthouse in Madison, GA where he also enjoyed singing.

In addition to his wife of 60 years, Shelby White Foster of Greensboro, GA, he is survived by three daughters, Loretta Barton (Wayne) of Palm Bay, FL, Vickie Grayson (James Martin) of Douglasville, GA, and Anita Lewis of Greensboro, GA; nine grandchildren, Richard Couch, Hannah Fletcher (Jeremy), James Jared Grayson (Tabitha), Leah Odell (Brandon), Laura Barton, Tyler Lewis, Trevor Lewis, Taylor Lewis, and Skie Lewis; ten great grandchildren, Nicholas, Brayden, Emma, Foster, Grayson, Beyla, Graham, Jake, Wyatt and Tinsley; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Elizabeth Hisaw, Alton Foster, Mary Lou Burgo, George Foster and Mavis Hubble.
