Clemente Manzo, 96, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, NJ, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018. Born in Duronia, Italy, he lived in Forked River, NJ, before moving to Berkeley Twp. Clemente was a Power Plant Engineer for Swift & Co. at Port Newark for 12 years then was owner of Manzo’s Bar in Jersey City for 17 years, retiring in 1982.

He was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. and was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Jersey City and the Forked River Moose Lodge. Clemente was predeceased by his wife Antoinetta in 2015.

He is survived by his three daughters Mary Gately and her husband John of Toms River, Donna Somma and her husband Luigi of Hazlet, NJ, Michele Hagigeorgiou and her husband George of Mahwah, NJ, four grandchildren Noreen, Dina, Stephanie and Neil, and ten great grandchildren Nicolette, Alexandra, Kyle, Julie, Dimitry, Eric, Valentina, Massimo, Nicholas and Gabriella.
