Mr. Clayton Roberts, age 52, of Huguley, Al., passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Dianne Roberts; daughter, Tori Roberts; mother, Mary “Frankie” Roberts; sister, Sarah Colley; six nephews, Christopher Colley, Jeremy Colley, Matthew (Jessie) Colley, A.J. Grant, Bo Grant, and Luke Grant; niece, Autumn Grant; seven great nieces, Laci Colley, Madison Colley, Tatum Colley, Gracie Colley, and Alex Colley, Aubrey Colley, and Blair Colley; great nephew, Austin Colley. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Roberts.
Mr. Roberts was born on January 3, 1962 at Lanier Hospital in Valley. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a graduate of the Alabama School for the Deaf in Talladega. While there he excelled in his leadership skills. For years he taught sign language classes at the Bradshaw Library. He was a leader in the Deaf Ministry and a huge University of Alabama fan.
