Clayton Francis Spindler, 85, passed away Monday May 6, 2013 in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin. Clayton was born Jan. 23, 1928 in Buffalo, New York to Joseph and Helen (Clabeuax) Spindler.He married Nell Blanche Warren on Aug 20, 1950 in Tennessee; they were married for 62 years.
He was an U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force veteran. Clayton was employed with Western Electric Company for 30 years as a production control analysts. He was a member of the American Legion in Franklin and member of the Southport Church of Christ. He enjoyed collecting model trucks and watching movies.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Blanche Spindler of Franklin, daughter, Pamela S. (Michael) Wicke of Whiteland, granddaughter, Stephanie Wicke of Whiteland, sister, June Baum of New York and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded death by his parents, three brothers, a sister and a half-sister.
