Clayton F. VanBuren, 55

Glenmont Clayton F. VanBuren, 55,of Maewin Drive, died suddenly Friday, July 29, 2005 at his residence of natural causes.

Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Burton VanBuren Sr. and Mabel (McGrath) VanBuren and husband of Dianna Kleinhans VanBuren.

He was raised in West Sand Lake, had resided in Glenmont and Selkirk for the past 20 years and was a graduate of Columbia High School.

Clayton was a shuttle bus driver for Rensselaer County NYSARC at the Brunswick Center for the past 2 years and prior to that was an automobile transporter for Capital Cities Imported Cars. He drove the Tulip Queen of the Tulip Festival in Albany during the festival parade for several years.

He was a member of the pool league at Den Den in Rensselaer and a Vietnam War veteran of the Army stationed in Vietnam in the Demolition Corp and later enlisted in the Marines.

Survivors in additon to his wife include nine sisters and brothers, Margaret VanAmburgh (Alfie) of Florida, Burton VanBuren (Bonnie) of West Sand Lake, David VanBuren (Judy) of Averill Park, Frank VanBuren (Mary) of Delanson, Mary Andrews of Saratoga, Doris Walko (Pete) of Troy, Cathy Burdick of West Sand Lake, Caroline Graver of Castleton and Shirley Graver (William) of West Sand Lake and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
