Clayton Dane Collins, Sr., age 83, of Clarksburg passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at United Hospital Center after a brief illness. He was born June 23, 1932 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Earl Collins and Mildred Collins.
Clayton is survived by his companion, Betty Newlon of Clarksburg, WV; two sons, Larry Collins & his wife, Judy of Clarksburg, WV and JR Collins of Clarksburg, WV and other children and step children; a granddaughter, Christal Collins& her fiancé, Steve of Clarksburg, WV; several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; an aunt & uncle, Mary Catherine & Charles Radcliff of Clarksburg, WV.
In addition to his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Collins; a daughter, Sharon Delaney; and a step-daughter, Brenda Armstead.
Clayton was a United States Army veteran.
