Clayton Albert “Slim” Zincon, age 98, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Friday, April 23, 2010 at Homestead of Sun Valley Assisted Living in Sykesville, Md.

Born November 24, 1911 in Westminster, he was the son of the late John Daniel and Nancy E. (Arnold) Zincon. He was predeceased by his wife, Leta L. (Zile) Zincon in 2004.

Clayton worked at the Sherwood Distillery until 1942, and was a Ford car salesman in Westminster from 1954 until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the Westminster United Methodist Church; a charter and life member of the Westminster Elks, 2277 and the Westminster Moose. He was a social member of the VFW and the Littlestown Eagles. Clayton enjoyed horse racing, fishing, and cards.

Surviving are a nieces and nephews, Charles Zincon, Jr., Eileen Zincon, Mary Marzulo and husband Robert all of Westminster; great niece Sharon Printzenhoff of Virginia; great nephew Michael Marzullo of West Virginia; great-great-nephews Benjamin and Jacob Printzenhoff; and many other great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by nephew, Harry Zook, and by siblings, Howard and Charles Zincon, Mabel Feiser, Sue Hesson, Ruth Zook, and Catherine Price.
