A native of Picayune, MS, she was a retired Bus Driver for Pearl River County Schools. Claudie was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. In her earlier days, she enjoyed camping, fishing, cake decorating, sewing, crafts, and helping others. Claudie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by her parents, Dumas Mitchell and Callie Lindsey Mitchell; her loving and devoted husband, Hugo Leo “Sonny” Jarrell; her son, Hugo Leo Jarrell II; her sister and brothers, Rebbie Smith, Lamont Mitchell, and Cleo to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted children, Earline (David) Strahan, Ollie (John) Mason, and Linda (Ray) Campbell; 4 grandchildren, Vanessa, Jonathan, Dillon, and Kyle; 9 great grandchildren; her sisters, Virginia Roberts and Tillie Cuevas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
