Claudia Marie Brinkert, age 68, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.
Claudia was born October 15, 1950 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Richard and Maxine (Lamb) Roe. She was a lifelong area resident who graduated from Portage Northern High School in 1968 and attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
In her earlier years she was employed at Cunningham’s Drug Store and Mall City Truck & Trailer Repair. Claudia retired from The Upjohn Company/Pharmacia/Pfizer, following 32 years of employment as a pharmaceutical data technician.
She enjoyed reading mysteries, windmills and the outdoors, flowers, movies, puzzles, learning about computers, loved her friends and enjoyed meeting new people. Family was a very important part of her life along with her cats.
Claudia was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Maxine Roe and by her sister Nancy Phillips.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews; a very special uncle and his wife Gary and Cinda Wolf.
