Claudette Evon Hartfields, 64, of the 600 block of Thomas Nelson Drive passed away March 21, 2010.
A native of Princess Anne County, Claudette retired from the Virginia Beach City Public Schools System as a Teacher after 32 years of service, and was a member of St. Stephens COGIC.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Wilbert Hartfields, 3 daughters Felita Hartfields, Freda Harrington, and Martina Shaw, 5 sons Raymond Winder, Kenneth L. Samuels (Barbara), Marcus Shaw (Tondalia), Mario Shaw, Marlon Hartfields, her parents Rev. Wilmure Burden and Mrs. Rosa Mae Burden, 3 sisters Carolyn Knight (Edward), Barbara Allen (Leon), Valerie Gregory (Earnest), 2 adopted sisters Alice Fenner, and Shirley Custis, 2 brothers Raghib Zarif (Pam), and Cassell Burden (Lori), 2 grandchildren, and 2 special friends Rachel Brown, and Earnestine Thoroughgood.
