Claudean Tinch, 78, of Anderson, passed away on January 21, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Livingston, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Cordia (Tayes) Peek on Sunday, January 25, 1942.
She married her husband Willie “Ray” Tinch on March 21, 1959, in Putman County, TN., Claudean was a member of Valley Grove Freewill Baptist Church, and she handled all of the administrative aspects of her husband’s business, Ray Tinch & Son Construction for over 40 years. She enjoyed going to car shows and spending time with her family.
Claudean is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Jeff) Flath of Anderson; granddaughter, Jennifer (Andrew) Walters of Arizona; four great-granddaughters, Natalee, Emma, GraceLynn, and Mckinlee Walters of Arizona; grandson, Bobby (Becca) Tinch; great-grandson, Liam; granddaughter, Breanna (Marcus) Miller; three sisters, Bettie Key of Algood, TN, Ruby Hawkins of Algood, TN, Kathy (Howard) Turner of Cookeville, TN; three brothers, Billy (LuAnn) Peek of Algood, TN, Jimmy Peek of Monterey, TN, and Charles (Sandy) Peek of Sebastian, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61.5 years, Willie “Ray” Tinch; son, Bobby Dale Tinch; grandson, Bobby Dale Tinch Jr.; three sisters, Lola Jean Owens, Rosa Mae West, and Sarah Peek; five brothers, Elmas Peek, Edward Peek, James Peek, Kenneth Peek, Lonnie Peek; sister in law, Beverly Peek; three brothers in law, Charles Key, Billy Hawkins and John West.
