Claude, the son of the late Thomas Lee and Louise Goodloe Seals, entered this world on August 25, 1952 in Lawrence County, Alabama. He departed this life on October 24, 2015 in Decatur, Alabama.
He confessed hope in Christ at an early age. He was a member of Wheeler Chapel Full Gospel Baptist Church where he was a dedicated and faithful deacon.
His formative years taught him the meaning of love and caring for others. His formal education was in the Lawrence County School System. He was a retiree of 3M Manufacturing Company with 37 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, William McKenzie Seals, his sister, Lilly Mae Cox and brothers, Frank and James Seals.
His survivors include: his wife, Nancy Ann Billen Seals of Courtland, his son, Christopher Seals of Hillsboro; his granddaughter who he adopted as his own, LeAundrea (Ashton) Woodall of Courtland; eight grandchildren, Deazsha, Tashenna, Zaniyah, Tamiyah, Christian, Kaiden, Amani and Zoey; one great-grandchild, Malachi; four sisters, Doris (Bruce) Hampton, Grace Seals both of Decatur, Pearl (Robert Jr.) Swoopes of Chattanooga, TN and Clara Davis of Gary, IN; four brothers, Clyde (Marquetta) Seals of Chicago, IL, Glen (Gina) Seals of Chattanooga, TN and Thomas (Lula) Seals of Hillsboro and Robert Earl Seals of Courtland; two aunts, Sally Eberhardt of Chattanooga, TN, Louise Goodlow of Hillsboro; one uncle, Dan Goodlow of Hillsboro; five sisters-in-law, Angie Billings of Courtland, Jearlean (Essie) Henderson, Annie White, Mae Smith and Orline Smith all of Chattanooga, TN; three brothers-in-law, Shine Billen and Henry (Janiel) both of Courtland and George (Regina Wright) Billings of Chattanooga, TN and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
