Claude Daniel Williams went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the age of 74 in Temple, Texas.

Claude was born on October 30, 1948, in Temple, Texas. Claude was the oldest son of Avant (Bill) and Ruth Williams. At midterm his senior year at Temple High School Claude joined the United States Navy in 1969 and served for 2 years during the Vietnam war. He went on to join the Civil Service (TACOM at Ft. Hood) where he served until retirement. After retiring from Civil Service, he wanted to continue helping his community by becoming a bus driver for Killeen ISD.

In September 1989 Claude married Louise Ann Johnson and they had just recently celebrated 33 years of marriage.

A man of kindness coupled with a good sense of humor, Claude was known for his generous spirit, and love of a good prank. Family, friends, and co-workers alike knew they could always depend on Claude.

He was an avid Longhorn fan/lifetime member and season ticket holder for the Longhorn football. He loved all things UT. He will be missed by all who know him. Claude was an active member of the Belton Church of Christ and had been looking forward to returning to services.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents Avant (Bill) and Ruth Williams and his first wife Rose Williams and his son Daniel Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Ann (Johnson) Williams, sisters Jean Williams Allen and Alice Wilkins and husband Larry Wilkins. Nieces Paula Farmer, Andrea Allen and Nicole Allen. Nephews Jon Sebesta and wife Sandi; Robert Sebesta and wife Allie and numerous great nieces and nephews. The family is especially grateful to their nephew Edward Meeks who has lived with the family for over a year to help with care for Claude and Louise. Ed also had help from his son Michael, his wife Michelle and his three grandkids here in Temple TX.
