Claude Andrew McDaniel, 75, of Salisbury passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at his residence.
Born November 10, 1938, he was the son of the late Mary Deal McDaniel and George W. McDaniel, Sr.
Claude was a veteran of the US Army. He was a lifelong member of Gay’s Chapel United Methodist Church, where he had held numerous positions over the years.
In addition to his parents, Claude was preceded in death by brothers, George W. McDaniel, Jr. and Raymond D. McDaniel.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jo Ann Brumley McDaniel; sons, Mark A. McDaniel (Cheree) of Salisbury, Gregory W. McDaniel (Misty) of Salisbury; daughter, Dee Ann McDaniel Munoz (Vince) of Salisbury; sisters, Margaret Williams (Grady) of Mt. Airy, NC, Mildred M. Bailey of Greensboro, NC, Pricilla Winecoff (Fred) of Salisbury, Janet Collins (Harvey) of Colleyville, TX, Sylvia Huffman (Ralph) of Greensboro, NC, Ruby Carol Bassinger (Ronnie) of Salisbury; brother, Marvin McDaniel (Sylvia) of Salisbury; sisters-in-law, Jo McDaniel of Salisbury, Lavie McDaniel of Woodleaf; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
