Clark E. Schmidt, 70, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, passed away due to complications from Lupus on Thursday March 24, 2005. He was a former resident of Sioux Falls, South Dakota for twenty-five years. Mr. Schmidt was a Veteran having served in the US Navy, and was an avid bicyclist. A son, John Schmidt, preceded him in death in 1960. He is survived by his loving family; his wife Lorraine M. Schmidt of Los Lunas, NM; his sons Doug Schmidt and his wife Judi of California, Jeff Schmidt and his wife Jana of North Carolina, Russell Schmidt of New Mexico, and Brian Minor of Rapid City, South Dakota; a daughter Darla Vogt of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; his sister Marge Wheeler and her husband Cliff of Missouri; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
