Clark Henry Gerry, 93, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed into heaven on April 4, 2012, in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Born and raised in Fruita Colorado, he served in the Army Air Corp during WWII as a B24 pilot. After his discharge from active duty, he pursued his engineering degree from The University of Arizona graduating in 1949. His love for flying and the military pulled him back to active duty during the Korean Conflict and he continued his career in the military until his retirement. He began his second career as a civil engineer with the federal government and retired again in the early 1980s.
He met and married his late wife Billye while stationed in Altus, Oklahoma and they enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 53 years until her death in 2010. They traveled to many places during his military career and they recalled those days fondly well into retirement. He will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his sons and daughter and their spouses, Bruce and Nancy Gerry, Christopher and Kathleen Gerry, Lissa and Larry Triphahn; his grandchildren Nicole Steele, Joshua Gerry, Heather Wittcop, Jeffrey, James, and Kelli Triphahn; his great-grandchildren Zachary and Ashley Steele.
