Clarence (Cal) Tyink Jr, 76, formally of Clermont, FL passed away Monday June 22, 2015 at the Dr. Jey Pillai Center for Hospice Care in Rockledge, FL after battling lung cancer. He was born on June 13, 1939 in Holland, Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara, his three sons, Kirk, Doug and Scott (Robin) Tyink of Michigan and step children Lori Miller (Mike) of Kissimmee, FL, Stephen Burwinkel (Nancy) of Viera, FL and Amy Eaton (Sean) of Lakeland, FL, his brother Jeff Atkins (Judy) of Atlanta, GA, 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his stepson Michael Burwinkel (Rhonda) of Hurst, TX and his parents Marion and Orville Atkins of Fenville, MI.
Cal was a United States Army Veteran, serving from 1957 to 1960. Cal most recently worked for Walt Disney World, retiring after 24 years. At Cal’s request, his body was donated to Science Care Florida for the advancement of cancer research.
