Clarence Trent, 101, of Clarksburg, WV, formerly of Greenbrier Community near Salem, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Clarksburg Care and Rehab where he has been a resident for several years. He was born in Ritchie County on March 8, 1911, one of eight children of Henry and Missouri Galdin Trent. Mr. Trent was married to Violet A. Dodd Trent who died in July 1990. He later married Marge Lawson Trent who passed away in 2003. He is survived by six children, David Trent of Florida; Betty Perkins and husband Ronnie of Salem; Patricia JoAn Leonard and husband Pete of Florida; Clarence Trent, Jr. and wife Debbie of Missouri; Steve Trent and wife Remonda of Bridgeport; Teresa Dawn Trent and husband Dave of Colorado; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
