Clarence “Butch” Schriber, age 59, of Clare, passed away on June 22, 2015 at the Paula J. Barber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Clarence William Schriber was born on May 4, 1956 in Iowa City, Iowa to Clarence and Betty (Kilts) Schriber. He attended Twin Rivers Community Schools.

Butch worked various jobs which included work at quarries, furniture delivery with Martin Home Interiors and his favorite being a bartender. Butch liked to play Cribbage & Rook, fishing, watching football, especially the San Diego Chargers, Nascar, wrestling, feeding birds and squirrels and spending time with his family.

Butch is survived by his son Burton Young of Iowa City; his siblings: brother Colin Kilts (Susan) of Minnesota, sister Janice Henkins (Herman Kohnke) of Clare, sister Linda Frederiksen of Mississippi; brothers-in-law John Dahl, Livermore and Larry Frederiksen of Mississippi; nieces: Teresa Street (Scott), Cedar Rapids, Gina Mohrfeld (Rick), Wilton, Janella Pierce (Dave), Spirit Lake, Dawn Andrews, Gilmore City, Lori Frederiksen, Mississippi, Donette Zittritsch, Rutland, Julie Krug, Cedar Rapids, Misty Henkins, Humboldt, Brenda Dahl, Livermore; nephews: Jim Dahl (Missy), Fort Dodge, Larry Frederiksen, Jr., Mississippi, Owen Kilts (Deb), Minnesota, and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Betty Schriber; a sister, Alice Dahl; infant brother, James Allen Schriber; nephews, Steven Kilts and Burton Henkins, Jr.; niece, Gwen Wilson and a great niece, Brittany Wilson.
