Mr. Clarence L. Butts, 92, a resident of Valley, AL passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Mr. Butts is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris Sims Butts; six children, Shirley B. Maddox (Wayne), Peggy B. Kirkland, Kay Thomas (Ray), Willie J. Butts, Brenda B. Windsor (Richard), & Deborah Butts; 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Earnest Junior Butts.
Mr. Butts was born in Coffee County, AL, and was known to his friends as “Dick Tracy”. He was of the Baptist faith.
