BILLINGSLEYClarence Joseph Billingsley, Sr. passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the age of 79. Joseph was born in Snyder, Arkansas and became a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA when he was seven years old. He was proud to serve his country in the United States Army. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Mae Joyce Rieffel Billingsley and four children, C. J. Billingsley, Jr. (Avé), Marie Billingsley Liggio (Frank), Brenda Billingsley Loustaunau (Mike), and Robert Billingsley (Cathy). He is survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His love for life and gift of laughter will be cherished by all who knew him.
