On December 25, 2006, Clarence “Jeff” A. Jefferson Jr. passed away at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 65 years to Edna M. Jefferson (nee Burl); Devoted father of Jeffrey L. Jefferson, Sharon L. Uzarowski and Nancy C. Harrison; Loving brother of the late Curtiss Jefferson; Cherished grandfather of five and great-grandfather of four. He was predeceased by one grandson, Roger Harrison. Clarence proudly served his country as a member of the United Stated Army during WWII. Since 1997, Clarence has lived in Queenstown. Prior to that he lived in Pasadena for 20 years, 10 of which he and Edna lived as “snow birds” to Florida during the winter months.

Clarence worked on office equipment for Remmington Rand and later opened his own company “Jefferson Office Machines”. He later worked for N.S.A. where he would eventually retire at the age of 65. Clarence was a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge on the Eastern Shore. He was also an active member in the Galilee Lutheran Church in Chester. Clarence loved photography and cameras, watching the stock market, using the computer and tending to his vegetable and flower gardens. More than anything, he loved to spend time with his family.
