Clarence “Jack” Martin, 85, of Anderson, passed away at home on November 3, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 31, 1934, in Jessamine, Kentucky.

Jack married the love of his life on April 28th, 1961. He did everything for his wife up until the day she passed away. She meant the world to him.

Jack loved to socialize, and being around his family and friends. He would always try to help anyone out whenever he could. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, taking his grandsons anytime he could. He loved being around his grandchildren, and when they came to visit him, it made his day. He was loved by so many people.

He was a very hard worker and provider for his family. Jack worked up until the day he just couldn’t work anymore. He owned and operated his own business, Martin’s Plumbing, for over 25 years. Prior to owning his business, he worked for Albea Plumbing, Dietzen Heating and Cooling, and ran his own landscaping business.

Jack is survived by his loving children, Vicky Robinson, Carolyn Laswell, Dalma Martin, Clarence Jackson Martin III, Kimberly Martin, Kenra Martin and granddaughter/daughter Dewendelin (Jason) Cain; grandchildren, Jacob (Julie Haley) Laswell, Cody Martin, Zachary Laswell, Nathaniel Lee, Quentin Dickey, Cameron Offringa, Anna Taylor, Naomi (Doug) Martin-Smith, Tessa (James York) Martin, Justice (Zach) Matthews, and Khloe Irwin; great-grandchildren, Caleb York, Ben Laswell, Noah Laswell, Elexis Cain, Sara Cain, Kali Martin, Teagan York, Madolynn Laswell, Adelynn Lee, Leightynn Lee, Jaden Lewis, Jasper Dinse, Karley Hickerson, Ethan Delgado, and Blake Smith; great-great-grandchildren, Delilah Cain, Greysen Cain, and one on the way; siblings, Wayne (Lorrene) Martin, and Lannie Bair; special dear old friend, Danny Cluxton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lou Martin; parents, Clarence Jackson Martin and Lilly May Willoughby-Martin; siblings, Barbara, Lillie, Viola, Marilyn, Susie, Sugar, Nancy, and Mildred May (Midge); and his grandparents.
