Clarence Edward Casey, 71, of Sturkie, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas.

He was born in Harlan, Kentucky on May 11, 1947, son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Dorothy Anna (Christian) Casey. Clarence spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father and friend. He was united in marriage to Brenda Arvin in Haroldsburg, Virginia on March 28, 1970. Clarence served our country in the United States Army and during his working years, he worked in construction. He was of the Baptist faith.

Clarence is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Casey of Sturkie; daughter, Amy Rosanna Casey of St. Charles, Missouri; son, Clarence Edward Casey, Jr of Thayer, Missouri; brothers, James Casey and wife, Mary Lou of Richmond, Kentucky and Benjamin Casey Jr and wife Terri of Atlanta, Georgia; brother in laws, Jack Smith of Darien, Illinois, Edward Arvin and wife Betty of Mary Alice, Kentucky and Turner Arvin and wife Mava of Bentonville, Arkansas; sister in law, Corrine Short of Monticello, Kentucky and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Dorothy Casey; sisters and brother in laws, Rosa Arvin and husband Green and Minnie Wright and husband Hank and sister, Nellie Smith and brother, Robert Casey.
