Clarence E. Gammons, 87, of Oglesby, died on Monday evening, February 25, 2019 at IVCH in Peru.
Clarence was born on September 4, 1931 in Dorena, MO, to Albert and Lola (Hayes) Gammons. He married Jacqueline Ford in 1977 in LaSalle.
Clarence was retired from IVCH. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, 3 children, Connie Wilber, of LaSalle, Jim Merrifield, of Cedar Point, and Larry Merrifield, of Spring Valley, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a brother James Gammons, of Little Rock, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Clarence Warren “Shorty” Gammons.
