Clare “John” Powers, 88, of Lakewood, CO, passed away Feb. 27, 2018, five days after his beloved wife of 68 years, Virginia “Sis” Powers. Preceded in death by Virginia; daughter Kristine; parents Charles and Alma. Survived by children Ken (Taylor) and Charlene; grandchildren Aspen (Darrin), Michael, Steven; great-grandchildren Reese and Micah. John was a retired US Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Turner (DDR 834).
