Clare M. CrimAge 75, of Henderson, passed away on August 18, 2017 at McLaren-Flint.Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Mt. Zion Catholic Community, 8228 North McKinley Road, Flushing, Michigan with Fr. Gordon Reigle, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Riverside West Cemetery, Henderson. Visitation will be Friday 3 PM to 8 PM with a Vigil Service 7 PM at Nelson-House Funeral Home and 10 AM to service at church on Saturday. Clare was born on January 3, 1942 in Rush Township to the late Carl and Margaret (Shipley) Crim. He was a graduate of Owosso High School. He married Anita T. Kohagen on August 23, 1968 at Our Lady Catholic Church in Chesaning; she preceded him in death on October 27, 2002. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a chief mechanic working on B-52’s. Clare worked in gas distribution for Consumers Energy, retiring March 1, 1999 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Zion Catholic Community and had been very active in the Rush Township 4-H. He was also an avid euchere player Clare is survived by his daughter, Mary (Chris) Poletti and son, Anthony Crim; grandchildren, twins Victoria and Micah Poletti, Dominic Poletti and Damian Poletti; other family members, Carol (Ron) Jones, Jerry (Betty) Crim, Peggy Saylers, Pat Crim and David Dumund. He was preceded in death by brothers, Burt and Carl Jr.; sister, Eva Morris.A very special thank you to Peter Schmit, a very faithful friend and prayer warrior.
