Clare A. Hobbs, 82, of Noblesville, passed away September 20, 2013 at Harbour Manor Nursing Home in Noblesville, IN. She was born on June 16, 1931 in Wilmore, Kentucky and resided most of her life in Anderson. Clare graduated from Farmland High School and Methodist Hospital School of Nursing.
She was a retired Registered Nurse where she practiced at several hospitals. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Sigma Beta, as well as local basket and quilt guilds.
She was survived by her children, Jody Rock of Fishers, IN, Melody Piazza of Noblesville, IN, Robert Hobbs of Anderson, IN, grandchildren, Amanda and Benjamin Rock, and Nicholas, Megan and Henry Piazza. She is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kate Wood Miller, father, Rev. Henry T. Miller, and her husband, John F. Hobbs.
