Clara Mae Dean, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015. She was born September 6, 1925. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Dean; parents, Marion and Amanda Millsap; step mother, Annie Weaver Millsap; daughter, Velma Jean Millsap; brothers, John Millsap, Roy Millsap and Clay Millsap; and sisters, Dovie Flowers, Margrett Mulkey and Oma Hardin.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Phyllis Millsap of Dalton; daughters and son in law, Shirley and James “Buck” Messer of Blue Ridge; Wanda Center of Texas; brother and sister in law, William and Margie Millsap of Chatsworth; sisters, Addie Wheeler of Ellijay, and Roxie Chastain of Chatsworth; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 20 great great grandchildren.
