Clara Mae Blythers was born to Joe B. Bennett and Willer Dean Womack in Barbour County.
At an early age, she joined St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church. She attended school in Barbour County.
Clara met the love of her life, Mr. Nathaniel Blythers, and they were married February 1972 and to this union one child was born. She worked for Van Heusen Shirt Factory until her health started to decline and she then retired.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Nathaniel Blythers; father and stepmother: Joe B. Bennett and Eloise Bennett; stepfather: Woodie Womack; and two brothers: Kenneth Bennett and Alonzo Womack.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; her loving son: Stanley Blythers; two grandchildren: Stanley J. Blythers and Camron M. Blythers; one great grandchild: Penellip Blythers; mother: Willer Dean Womack; six brothers: Jeremaih (Dorothy) Bennett, Joe (Andy) Bennett, Curtis (Stella) Bennett, Greg Bennett, Don (Mary) Womack, and Robert Womack; six sisters: Sherry (Sam) Nelson, Terra McCray, Diane Massey, Linda Walton, Teresa Glenn, and Brenda (Cedric) Johnson; eight special aunts & uncles: Mary Ann Walker, Dorothy Coleman, Ada McCrae, Johnny Bennett, Reverend Jerry Bennett, David Burks, Lonnie Burks, and William Burks; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
