Clara Lee Burton, formerly Clara Lee Wallace, 90, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away peacefully June 19, 2022. Born March 9, 1932 to Mamie Greene and Esker Burton, she was preceded in death by her husband William Luther Wallace.
Clara is survived by her children, William Wallace II, Rhonda Christopher, and Joan McKee, six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren with more on the way.
She was a very proud Grandma who would show off photos of her grand babies to everyone she’d meet. She loved watching her stories every day and was an avid seamstress and crafter who loved participating in 4-H projects with her granddaughters!
Clara was a lifetime member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority and a member of Rocklane Church.
She was such a loving and generous person, always sending her guests home with a piece of her heart, whether through her crafts, her cooking, or a family heirloom.
She will be deeply missed by her family who will be thinking of her each time a butterfly crosses their path.
