Clara Jannette LeVesque, of Como, NC passed away surrounded by her family on May 8th, 2024, at the age of 77. All the beautiful memories of wonderful times together will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.Jannette is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Roger LeVesque; sister, Lorraine “Rainy” Hamilton, and her daughter, Sara Beth LeVesque.Jannette was born on July 14th, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late, George and Delores Padgett, and was the eldest of the three daughters. Growing up as the eldest, Jannette possessed a wealth of wisdom, sharp whit, with a little sass mixed in. After meeting at a High School Sock Hop, Jannette married Doug LeVesque on November 13th, 1963 and raised six children together. With enduring love, they celebrated 34 years of marriage, many family camping adventures, and a shared faith in the God they loved so much! A very close relationship was formed between Jannette and her sister in law, Gwen Dodson and her husband, Ronnie who became her lifelong friend and shared many traveling adventures together.Jannette truly enjoyed her many roles as a wife, mother, friend, water colorist, world traveler when she could, but most importantly child of God. She became a Christian as a young adult, and since that day, she has been lovingly studying the word of God and forming a closer relationship with her Savior. Jannette truly loved God with her whole heart, mind, and soul, and it was her greatest desire that her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren would put God and His word first in their lives. We rejoice she is now in heaven and find comfort that her Lord and Savior is embracing her and saying, “Well done good and faithful servant!”Jannette is survived by her sister, Minetta Jones and husband John; her children, Renee (LeVesque) Hadley; Candy (LeVesque) Wright and husband, Matt; Doug LeVesque, Jr., and wife, Meg; Daniel LeVesque; and Amber (LeVesque) Doering, and husband, Michael. She had the sweet privilege of helping to raise two of her grandchildren, Jessica Boggs and Gabrielle Schneider. Her other greatly loved grandchildren are Alaina Clay, Justin Wright, Timothy Wright, Benjamin Wright, Emma Hendricksen, Wesley Wright, Laura Cudak, Josiah Wright, Joshua Wright, Elijah Wright, Ezra Wright, Annabelle LeVesque, Douglas LeVesque, III, Abby LeVesque, Nicole LeVesque, David LeVesque, Max Hoek, Hannah Doering, Caleb Doering, Isaac Doering, Joseph Doering, Jonathan Doering, Samuel Doering, Eliana Doering, and Luke Doering, and three great-grandchildren, Liam, Sam, and Jamison Wright.
