As her children prayed the last Hail Mary of the Holy rosary, Clara G. Castillo passed away from this life into eternal life on Monday, January 25 at the age of 94.
Clarita, Tia Clarita as she was affectionately called was born in Mercedes, Texas on August 12, 1926 to Juan and Sara S. Guajardo. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon, her daughter Beatrice, and a grandson Roel, her parents, four brothers and a sister.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Raul (Isabel), Evila (Reynaldo) Gonzales, Ruben (Blanca), Robert (Rosie) Castillo; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Pablo (Antonia) Guajardo, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
