Clara C. Maurer, 97, of Montoursville died Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Williamsport Hospital.
Born May 19, 1914 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Adam, Jr. and Alice Derr Neidig.
Clara was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and playing dominos. Clara was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Ascension Church.
Surviving are a son; Daniel L. (Bonnie) Maurer of Montoursville, a grandson; Stephen M. Maurer, a granddaughter; Danielle M. (Jack) Hinds, a brother; Carl A. Neidig, eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. Maurer, two sisters; Rhoda M. Kiessling, and Grace A. Bell, and three brothers; Andrew W., Howard J., and Ralph F. Neidig.
