Clara C. Furbish, 80, of Northborough, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Marlborough Hospital. She was the wife of the late Clyde J. Furbish, Jr.

Born in Northborough, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Mabel (McKissick) Sinclair and was raised and educated in Northborough.

In her early years she worked at Alfax Paper where she met her future husband, Clyde. After the birth of her first child she stayed home to raise her family. Her hobbies included doing crafts like Latch Hook kits, Cross Stitch, and reading.

Clara is survived by five children, David W. Furbish of Fryeburg, Maine, Daniel J. Furbish and his wife, Joanne, of Westborough, Dawna J. Tervo-Silva and her husband, Ernest, of Millbury, Denice M. Catania and her husband, David, of Clinton and Clyde J. Furbish, III, and his wife, Jennifer of Shrewsbury; two brothers, Sam Sinclair of Northborough and Ronald Sinclair of Charlton; four sisters, Janet Annis of Northborough, Phyllis Letendre of Marlborough, Marilyn Banks of Stoughton and Paula Fiske of Northborough; 13 grandchildren,12 great-grandchildren and three on the way. And her beloved cat, Minnie.

She was the mother of the late Dean J. Furbish and grandmother of the late Robert Tervo.
