Clara B. Finlan-Grocke, 75, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Saint Joseph Care Center west, South Bend.
Clara B. Buell was born on February 10, 1931, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to the late Elmer and Jennie (Kehoe) Buell and was a lifelong area resident. On July 5, 1947, she married Stanley Grocke, who preceded her in death on June 30, 1973. She then went on to marry Raymond Finlan on February 4, 1975, and he also preceded her in death in 1996.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Fredrick) Bickel of South Bend; her son, Michael Grocke of South Bend; three grandchildren, Allen Grocke, Heather (Dustin) Saunders and Lesley (Chad) Eber; eight great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Mary Ellen Gerald of Mishawaka. Along with her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence, and by a brother, Joseph.
